Things are getting busy… and we’re looking for someone to help us keep up!

Deez Mats And Such is a growing local apparel and custom design brand specializing in custom doormats, shirts, hoodies, crewnecks, hats, and community-focused designs. We’re looking for a reliable, motivated person to join us part-time and help bring ideas to life at the shop and out in the community.

What you’ll help with:

* Learning and assisting with heat press apparel production

* Helping set up and break down vendor events/pop-ups

* Organizing displays, mannequins, inventory, and merchandise

* Greeting customers and helping create a fun event experience

* Handing out stickers, dog treats, and promotional items to families

* Assisting with packing orders and basic business operations

* Helping capture photos/videos for social media

* Traveling to local events throughout the Shoreline area when needed

Ideal candidate:

* Reliable, positive, and comfortable talking with people

* Willing to learn and get hands-on

* Creative mindset and interest in apparel, design, business, marketing, or events

* Able to work independently and as part of a small growing team

* Has reliable transportation (required)

* Must be comfortable working weekends/evenings for events

Bonus points for:

* Experience with Canva, graphic design, social media, or photography

* Interest in entrepreneurship or small business

* Experience with crafts, apparel, printing, or retail

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants real-world experience inside a growing small business. You won’t just be watching from the sidelines, you’ll be part of building something from the ground up.

We're looking for the right person to join our team, as soon as August 2. This is not a full-time position or guarantee of permanent part time work as we currently have work lined up through November, so we're looking for someone available on that timeline. Things are heating up so that will likely just move through next year.

This role isn't for everyone. It takes someone who's comfortable working with fabric and confident measuring with a tape measure. If that's not you, please don't apply — we're looking for serious candidates only.

We may also consider a paid internship for the right candidate looking to put hours toward on-the-job experience.
